"I waited 6 years for my long-wished daughter"

My name is Klára and I am 42 years old. I've always loved children, so I always knew I wanted to have my own one day. 12 years ago, my husband and I started trying to have our first baby and it took 6 long years before I could hold that little bundle of love in my arms.

In the course of time, I returned from America back to the Czech Republic and met my current husband. Around the age of 30, we decided it was time to start a family. We were both young, healthy, and thought that the problems with conception and pregnancy that we heard in various ways did not concern us. Unfortunately, we were wrong. After three years of completely futile attempts and false hopes, I finally managed to get pregnant. But our dream of a future family did not last long, because at the end of the second month, the fetus's heart stopped beating. The forced abortion has broken both of our knees, but we did not lose faith.

After another miscarriage, we visited the clinic
A year later I managed to get pregnant again. Unfortunately, the second pregnancy had exactly the same scenario as the first. My pregnancy was finally underway as it should, it seems to compensate us for years of suffering and doubt. A few months later, I gave birth to a healthy, beautiful baby girl.
